MVNE.PL is a Polish company on a mission to lower the barriers to entering the telecom market. Instead of going through lengthy, costly infrastructure builds, businesses can plug into MVNE's ready-made platform and launch their own branded mobile operator — in as little as one month. It's an ideal solution for retail networks, tech companies, and any brand looking to offer mobile services under their own name.

To prove the concept — and push it further — MVNE built PR1V: a privacy-first virtual mobile operator, managed entirely through a dedicated mobile app. From browsing plans and choosing a phone number, to porting an existing number, making purchases, and managing payments, business groups, and family plans — everything happens in one place, in the user's hands.

PR1V didn't just validate the MVNE platform. It gave the company a live, scalable product to build on — and a compelling proof point for every future client.

Client’s challenges

Becoming a virtual mobile operator is no small feat. The standard implementation process takes anywhere from 12 to 18 months — a gauntlet of complex integrations with network infrastructure providers, payment systems, CRM platforms, and other operational tools. For most businesses, the high entry barrier and the sheer time investment made launching their own telecom services simply not worth it.

To change that equation, our client set out to build something the market was missing: a true end-to-end, out-of-the-box platform. The MVNE platform brings together everything a virtual operator needs under one roof — system integrations, telecom business process management, logistics, and end-customer support — all pre-built, pre-connected, and ready to go.

But technology alone wasn't enough. The platform is backed by hands-on business advisory, giving new clients a meaningful head start on commercial success — not just a working system, but a clear path to making it profitable. The result? A new virtual operator can go from decision to launch in one month — without navigating the complexity alone.

How did we support the client?

The Nexio team was responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of two interconnected projects: the MVNE platform and the PR1V mobile application.

Nexio designed the solution architecture using .NET and built the entire infrastructure on AWS. The team handled server setup and configuration, and ensured the stability of the running system. Within the MVNE platform, Nexio engineers also developed an integration layer connecting all the key third-party systems required to operate a virtual network operator — including the network infrastructure provider Play, ING's iMoje payment system, the InPost courier service, and the ConnectX CRM system from AmDocs.

In parallel, Nexio developed the PR1V mobile application — the first virtual operator to run on the MVNE platform. The app was built in Flutter, enabling it to run natively on both iOS and Android. Particularly noteworthy was the development of a dedicated, technically complex number porting mechanism, integrated with the PLI CBD system.

The team also integrated identity verification services, including mObywatel and Onfido. The project ran through the full development lifecycle — from initial design all the way to publishing the app on Google Play and the App Store, making it available to end users.
Nexio also built the PR1V website (PR1V.pl), which presents the operator's offer and directs visitors to download the app.

Once the implementation phase was complete, a dedicated maintenance team took over responsibility for both projects. The maintenance model combines technical support with ongoing feature development. Because the same team that built the applications continues to maintain them, there was no knowledge transfer barrier — a significant advantage given the complexity of the business logic involved.
