About the project
A client from the insurance industry asked us to rewrite its systems in order to introduce comprehensive digitisation and automation of sales processes.
The previous application was based on data entered into a spreadsheet, requiring users to manually upload data into client files or conduct telephone interviews, which did not meet expectations due to its limited functionality.

My-WPA
is an application for individual customers that allows them to choose the insurance customised to their needs and enter their data.
Health Partners
is an internal application aimed at partners, where they can manage clients and issue policies as in My-WPA.
Broker
is a reduced version of Health Partners for insurance brokers.
Renewals
is an application available for customers where they can manage their policy.
API
which is designed to calculate policy prices for pricing calculators.

Preparation
The project was preceded by workshops with the various departments operating in the organization, which allowed us to reduce the number of unnecessary steps in the process and add new functionalities.
Design Sprint
We conducted a six-week Design Sprint, during which we changed the prepared skeleton into a prototype.
Sprint Demo
We introduced two-week sprints, followed by a Sprint Demo and business acceptance that allowed production of the solution. The project itself was implemented in the Agile/Scrum methodology.
Production process
The development process was carried out in a CI/CD process with environments set up: Dev, Stage and Prod. This stage was followed by Code Review and testing.

We have successfully built a tool that meets the client's expectations and ensures consistency in the brand image. In addition, we created a system that is transparent for users and uses understandable language.
Thanks to the option to check the price on the website and the launch of online payment, conversion has improved and the self-renewal function has reduced the cost of handling renewals.
